Dismantling Tips
- Place an old cloth/towel over tube and break the end seal to safely let air in to the CRT tube.
- DO NOT attempt to break a picture tube unless you are completely sure it's designed to be implosion free, many old TV sets did not have implosion resistant picture tubes, attempting to break one open will give you the same amount of danger as a exploding shrapnel bomb, they WILL explode, sending razor sharp pieces of glass flying in all directions at ballastic speeds. You'll be maimed for life, if you're lucky.
